Over the course of the last eight years, my family has developed a wonderful relationship with Steve Sypher Designs. Steve has designed and overseen projects ranging from an extraordinary outdoor living space, kitchen and bath remodels to our home in a North a Raleigh to a complete home rebuild inside the Beltline.

In 2013, we purchased a 1940s duplex off Wade Avenue. My family discussed rebuild options with a short list of contractors, but with ease entrusted the project with Steve Sypher Designs. Most contractors suggested a complete tear down off the home. However, Steve saw the beauty of the existing structure. He turned the 1500sq ft duplex into a custom 3600 sq ft home with 10ft ceilings, exquisite molding and full upscale features expected in homes in our area including a theater.

From the very beginning of the project, Steve was open, honest, and concerned about a design that would accomodate our family. He was upfront about the cost and timeline and stayed on budget. Maybe the most impressive task was his ability to see where we could save. Steve is very knowledgable about the area and genuine about what was needed to keep our rebuild inline with area real estate.
